Upcoming Chapter Meetings

OCTOBER 11th In-person meeting @ Westin SFO Airport Hote

Topic: How to Move Away from Hourly Billing to Increase Your Profits

Speakers: Heather Sontag of Serene Space Organizing and Samantha Pregenzer of Simply Organized

Ever wonder how to make more money without working more hours?  In this insightful and fun presentation you  are going to explore different ways of setting up your fee structures.  These two seasoned organizers are going to help you take your business to the next level by examining the methods by which you package and charge for your services.  Many organizers charge a per hour rate and continue to do so through out their career, slowly increasing the rate over time.  This traditional model of setting your fees is based on the J.O.B. paradigm, that we get paid for every hour that we work.  Unfortunately as business owners we aren’t paid for those hours of marketing, research, education, billing, and tax preparation that also must be completed behind the scenes in the business.  The price per hour model in a small business or soloprueneur operation means there are many hours you are not getting paid to work.  Plus the amount of hours you can work with clients is limited.  If you worked 40 hours a week with clients, you would be exhausted and unable to complete the other backend work you must do to keep your business running.
How do you do it?  How do you talk to potential clients?  What do you offer them that makes them think it worthwhile?  We’ll be discussing all of this and more…..Come, learn how shifting your structure can expand your reach and income with out working more hours.
