Are you asking every client what their emergency and evacuation plans are?

The June Pop-Up Meeting will be motivationally rich with specific suggestions to make attendees the GO-TO Organizing Authorities in our communities and even further afield, aided by the internet and local media.
Please make room in your busy lives to not only add value to your business skills, but to be responsibly prepared to create survivor-endorsed action plans for yourself and others.  We organizers know that goal setting and planning help get anything done more easily.
Our speakers' lives are still in chaos and their day-to-day financial and emotional survival is severely challenging.  They struggle to function, still living in their vehicles and trailers and are surrounded by neighbors and friends, who are also suffering from the trauma.  They are taking precious time to share with us because they are so passionate about what they now know.  Our budget allows for only what amounts to gas money.  So, please help us welcome them with an SRO attendance and spread their extremely valuable advice.
This preparation also makes the aftermath of any disaster easier to handle.   Having critical information accessible that relates to insurance, banking, medical, legal situations, etc.,  allows loss survivors to more effectively manage the bureaucracy and red tape inevitably linked to calamities of all kinds.  Great opportunities exist for organizers to help clients be prepared in this area.
Following a presentation by our speakers, who are wild fire survivors with first-hand experience, we will put our organizing experience to work in Round Table Brainstorming and synthesize our learning into a vital step-by-step plan to take to our clients and communities.

Hopefully we and our clients will use these early Summer months — before the greatest danger of fires arise — to put life saving plans and supplies together.  And let’s not neglect our shaky frienimies —The San Andreas and Hayward Faults.
